The stats you see here is the cumulative average for points scored/outscored, and ranks the teams accordingly. For tracking purposes, we include both the current year (2012) and previous year (2011) standings.

Under the 2012 column, the number in Parenthesis ( ) (if present) is the 2011 ranking for that week.  Under the 2011 column, the number in Parenthesis ( ) (if present) is the 2012 ranking for that week.

G is the number of games played, so far. If you see a minus sign ( - ) before a number in the + / - column, it means that team was outscored by their opponents.

The formula is very simple. Total up the Points For, subtract the total Points Against, and then divide by the number of games played.

This is done on a total points cycle. Each successive week includes the totals from the weeks previously played.
